On a trip to Portland, we hiked the Henline Falls Trail in Oregon. Although the trail is a farther drive south of Portland and the road was bumpy with pot holes, this low-trafficked trail has quickly become one of our favourites in the Pacific Northwest.

The Hole in the Wall hike near Port Alberni, although potentially crowded due to its touristy nature, offered a trail through a lush forests, river views and the awe-inspiring rock formation with rushing water.
