Sunset Park Dog Off-Leash Enclosure

On this week’s update, we didn't go anywhere particularly far, but to a park known as the Sunset Park Dog Off-leash Enclosure. This park had undergone construction and was reopened in June of 2018. We finally got to visit it for the first time.

Located by University of British Columbia is the Pacific Spirit Regional Park where students and dogs owners alike love to take breaks for a walk in the forest. This is one of our most frequented trails and this week, we try out another trailhead.

We've been in the middle of our two-week road trip series and starting from Vancouver, we've made our way to California, Nevada and we're currently Page, Arizona. While in Page, we squeezed in two stops in Utah and the first was Goosenecks State Park.
Golden Ears Provincial Park

The Golden Ears Provincial Park is an impressive park in British Columbia with trails and campgrounds that span over 600 square kilometres. At the centre of the park is the beautiful Alouette Lake, a popular spot for water activities.
Rocky Point Park

One of the biggest reasons we love visiting Rocky Point Park is because it goes along the Burrard Inlet, which makes for a beautiful view basically anywhere you are. At this park, you get access to the park, the beach, trails and an off-leash dog park.

While we were in the Los Angeles area, we got to meet up with dog owners and their dogs. Our friends helped set up a hike so the dogs got to meet each other and we went to Monrovia Canyon Park to do the Monrovia Canyon Waterfall Trail together.

While driving through the state of Oregon, we stopped to visit one of its greatest and most beautiful parks, the Crater Lake National Park. The depth of the lake gives it a very striking blue colour, making it one of the most beautiful lakes in the world.
