Our adoption story takes us beyond our local shelters and to Thailand, South Korea and Japan in search of a dog to rescue. Our story takes place in the Pacific Northwest and our hope is that it can be a roadmap to others who are also looking to rescue.

It's been several days since we adopted Markus and it's been full of surprises, but it's also been a a blur. Before we forget everything, we wanted to share the story about the day we went to the airport to pick up Markus.
